Drama - Why Tell a Story?

For me, telling story is one of the result from human needs to socializing. In socializing, people need to communicate, and telling story is a way to communicate. The example is, if two persons chat, both of them are telling stories, so it is the way to do two-ways communication. Telling story makes people know each other's point of view about things.

Beside that, people also need to be heard. Telling story fulfills that needs. Along with the needs to have knowledge and other point of views, people also need (or want) to share their knowledge or point of view. So that it is kind of "take and give" matter.
